• COURSE OVERVIEW

HTML I is a full-day hands-on class designed to teach experienced Internet users the basics of using the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) to create Web pages, format documents, and make them available via the Internet.

• AUDIENCE

This course is designed for students who want to learn the fundamental skills required to create effective Web pages.

• OBJECTIVES

At the completion of this course, students will understand the HTML authoring language and how to author Web pages incorporating text, graphics and other media types. Students will also learn how to link to other pages on the Web.

• PREREQUISITES

• Completion of Using the Internet & Applying Search Techniques or equivalent knowledge and skills
• Typing speed of at least 40wpm
• Prior experience with a graphical user interface such as Macintosh or Windows
