  • ADM Guidelines and Techniques
  • Views, Viewpoints and Stakeholders
  • Preliminary Phase, Architecture Principles and Phases A&B (High Level)
  • Building Blocks, Key TOGAF Artifacts and Templates
  • Key Deliverables and Templates
  • Phases C-Requirements
  • Architecture Governance
  • Level 1 Practice Test (Group Work)
  • (Read World Class EA Pre-Worked Example and Study Guide 1 for Homework)

Day 3

  • Read Pre-Case Exercise 2 Together and Discuss
  • Review Real World TOGAF 9 Case Study (Programmatic Level)
  • Read Case Study and Preliminary Section on Principles
  • Exercise 1: Develop Architecture Principles for Case Study
  • Complete Preliminary Phase
  • Phases A-D (Deeper Dive – Focused Mainly on Steps)
  • Cover Goals of Exercises 2 and 3, including where to find deliverable and artifact templates
  • Accomplish Exercises 2&3: Request for Architecture Work for Case Study, and Stakeholder Analysis Matrix (Accomplish, submit electronically and brief)
  • Close (Review of Course To Date with T/F Group Exam as Homework, along with Study Guide for Level 1)

  • Content Management
  • Viewpoint Library with an Emphasis on Phase C (Data Architecture)
  • Phase D (Deeper Dive)
  • Exercise 4: Architecture Landscape
  • Phases E & F (Deeper Dive)
  • Phases G & H (Review Key Points)
  • Requirements Management (Deeper Dive)
  • Brainstorm Business Scenarios and Associated Architecture Visions
  • Level 2: Test Tips and Practice Group Effort
  • Test Maturity Models and Skills Frameworks
  • Architecture Partitioning and Iterations
  • Level 1: Practice Test (Individual Level) and Review of It
